Reporting a crime? This form comes to me, not to the police, and I may not see it for a day or two. If a crime is happening now or anyone is in danger, ring 999. For anything else, ring 101 or report it to Lancashire Police directly. Tell me as well and I will push on the pattern of it, the lighting, the repeat callouts and what the council and the police are doing about the area.

Where is it? * A street name, and the nearest house number or landmark if you can.

How long has it been like that?

Already reported to the council?

Council reference number, if you have one

Tell me what is wrong * The more specific the better, what it is, how bad it is, and whether anyone is at risk.

How can I reach you?

Your name *

Your email *

Phone (optional)

Your postcode So I can check you are in the ward.

Your address (optional)

What happens next

It arrives in my inbox straight away and I read it myself.
If it belongs to the borough or the county council, I put it in front of the right department and give it a shove. You do not need to work out which one it is.
I come back to you with where it has got to, and I keep chasing until it is sorted.

If it is dangerous and needs someone out today, ring rather than write. 07917363528
